The Oscars are coming up soon. With that, I now find that I resent that I have to go see the "Gay Cowboy Movie". Like many of you out there, I'm sure we wouldn't have gone to see it if it didn't get that academy award nomination. I haven't seen it yet, but I know I have to to be culturally literate.

I hope I like it. I never really liked cowboy movies-not happy enough for me. I thought this one might be happy since it's referred to as "Gay", but then I found out that it's not 'that' kind of gay-more like men loving men sort of thing. Like, so what? Aren't all cowboys that way? Or is it just the country and western music listening that's that way? I don't know. I'm sure there must be some cowboys somewhere who don't listen to country western.

Well, I'm off to the movies. Hopefully-happiness will abound :(
